How much food is in each meal prep container?
Our chef-prepared meals contain 4-6oz of premium protein (pre-cooked weight) and range from 300-700 calories per meal.
How do I heat and prepare my ready-to-eat meals?
All Zedric's meals are plated into eco-friendly, BPA-free, microwave-safe containers. Simply:

Important: Once meals have been opened and heated, they should be consumed immediately. We do not recommend refrigerating or storing meals once opened.
Are the meals already cooked or do I need to cook them?
Your meals are already fully cooked! We prepared everything fresh in our culinary center from scratch with premium ingredients. You're simply reheating the meal to enjoy the perfect temperature and optimal flavor. Think of it as having your own personal chef who's already done all the cooking for you!

How are delivery meals packaged and how will I know when they arrive?
Your fresh meals are delivered in insulated Zedric's bags with ice packs to maintain optimal temperature during transport.

Important: Please have someone available to immediately refrigerate your meals upon delivery. If meals are not cold upon receipt, contact us immediately at (210) 541-0404.
Do you deliver to businesses and offices?
We can deliver to businesses, but we cannot guarantee delivery before business closing hours. For best results, we recommend delivery to your home address if your workplace isn't open late.
What if I forget my gate code or delivery instructions?
Please include all necessary delivery information (gate codes, apartment numbers, special instructions) with your order.
If you forget to add this information:

What if I forgot to cancel or modify my subscription?
We understand life gets busy! However:

No refunds available after the deadline as meal preparation begins

Food Safety & Storage
How long do meals stay fresh and can I freeze them?
Refrigerator storage: Up to 7 days with use-by dates clearly marked on each container
Freezer storage: Meals can be frozen for up to 3 months before the expiration date
We use Modified Atmospheric Technology instead of harmful preservatives to maintain freshness and safety.
Please check use-by dates carefully when selecting meals - we cannot exchange meals for different dates after purchase.
What is your pickup policy for in-store orders?
Pickup window: All orders must be collected within 7 days of purchase
Unclaimed orders: Orders not picked up within 7 days will be disposed of due to food safety regulations
No refunds for unclaimed orders as food preparation costs have been incurred

What's the story behind the name "Zedric's"?
The name comes from Chef Zach's great-grandfather's first name. Zedric owned National Decorator Supply in Indiana for 50 years, and young Zach always followed him around during visits. "Zedric" also happens to be Chef Zach's middle name, making this both a family tribute and personal connection.
